HEMI (The Hub for the Exchange of Music Innovation) was a European initiative that supported music professionals, artists, and companies in Southeast Europe. The program provided training, networking, and resources to help the regional music industry grow and connect with the wider European ecosystem.

My Involvement with HEMI

I joined HEMI as a participant with Indiy when I first moved to Athens. I wanted to meet people and understand the music scene on this side of Europe.

I quickly saw the potential of the program. In the following years, I helped with community building, web presence, and other support activities. In 2024, I welcomed the HEMI group to Athens Music Week as part of the local hosting efforts.

Why HEMI Mattered

HEMI played an important role in strengthening the music industry in Southeast Europe. It connected local talent with international opportunities and helped professionals develop their skills and networks.

The program contributed to a more vibrant and connected music ecosystem in the region.

Personal Reflection

Supporting HEMI aligned with my commitment to building a stronger music industry in Greece and the wider region. I believe in the power of collaboration and knowledge sharing. I am proud to have contributed to this important European initiative.
